In the case of Xhibit P, pop culture represents that spoonful of sugar that helps the complex and uncomfortable addressing of social issues go down much smoother. For this reason, we ought to take full advantage of the plethora of pop culture that surrounds us daily. But instead of taking a superficial approach to pop, why not re-purpose pop to work for our social benefit instead of our detriment?
